Nampa, ID Job Details Full-time | Contract $21 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Lawn care Outdoor work Electrical work Maintenance work Mowing High school diploma or GED Irrigation systems Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Duties Perform maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, tree trimming, planting, and gardening to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy. Operate hand tools, power tools, lawn mowers, snow plows, excavators, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues for professional servicing. Collaborate with team members on maintenance schedules to optimize efficiency and quality. Perform daily and seasonal grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, raking, leaf removal, and debris management. Inspect, maintain, and repair campus irrigation systems, including valves, heads, controllers, and line leaks. Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and turf in accordance with campus landscape plans. Operate and maintain equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, utility carts, tractors, and other specialized tools used by the Physical Plant. Assist with snow and ice removal operations including shoveling, plowing, sanding, and salting to maintain safe access to buildings and walkways. Qualifications Proven experience with landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, or related outdoor work. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment such as excavators or snow plows. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively in construction Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for coordinating with colleagues on projects.

Pay:

$21.00 per hour
