Job Description

Sandpoint Garage Doors, a trusted local leader in garage door installation and repair, is looking for a motivated and dependable Garage Door Installer Helper to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing quality work, and is eager to learn. You will work alongside experienced installers, assisting with residential and commercial garage door installations while gaining valuable on-the-job experience and contributing to the work we do for our customers every day. We are hiring to support our installation workload during our busy season. Strong performers may be considered for future seasonal opportunities, additional responsibilities, or continued employment as business needs allow. Key Responsibilities Assist experienced technicians with residential and commercial garage door installations Load, unload, organize, and transport doors, materials, and equipment Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Help remove and dispose of old garage doors and related materials Keep work areas, vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized Learn installation techniques, product knowledge, and safety procedures Communicate professionally with customers and team members Follow all company safety policies and procedures Assist with service and repair work as skills develop Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Experience using hand and power tools preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Strong work ethic and positive attitude Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders in various weather conditions Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and performance Paid, hands-on training Company-provided tools Supportive and professional team environment Overtime opportunities may be available during peak seasons Ready to Join Our Team? Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
