Job Description

Sandpoint Garage Doors is seeking a skilled and dependable Garage Door Technician to join our team. This position involves both installation and service work on residential and commercial garage doors and openers. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and can work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate can perform both installation and service work or has the aptitude and desire to learn both. Pay $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience Job Type Full-time Responsibilities Install residential and commercial garage doors and openers Diagnose and repair garage door systems and operators Replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, weather seal, and related components Perform preventative maintenance and service work Complete jobs safely and efficiently Communicate professionally with customers Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and work area
Qualifications Preferred:
Garage door installation and service experience Ability to independently diagnose and complete service calls Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Required:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work safely with tools, ladders, and equipment Positive attitude and customer service skills Benefits Health insurance Paid holidays Paid time off Overtime opportunities About Sandpoint Garage Doors Sandpoint Garage Doors is a locally owned company that has served North Idaho for over 30 years. We provide residential and commercial garage door installation, repair, and service. We value quality workmanship, professionalism, and taking care of our customers. Experienced garage door technicians are encouraged to apply. Applicants with experience in construction, HVAC, electrical, welding, mechanical repair, or related trades will also be considered.
