  • Contract The Maintenance Technician provides service functions throughout facilities.
In addition to completing assigned duties, continuous improvement effort relating to cost, quality, and delivery is expected. Key Responsibilities Contacting Production supervisors, Model Shop associates, Manufacturing Engineering, or other departments as needed to resolve equipment issues Performing scheduled preventative inspections and maintenance on facilities and machines. Repairing HVAC, compressed air, and manufacturing equipment as required. Installing new equipment per manufacturer's recommendations. Installing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. Performing light to moderate carpentry and construction functions. Performing courier services for mail, special documents, materials, and associate commuting purposes. Training new associates in maintenance and facility service functions. Other duties as assigned. Requirements For Consideration High school degree or equivalent. Computer literacy using Microsoft Windows. 1-2 years related Maintenance experience and/or training. Following, understanding, and ensuring compliance with required company and department SPIs, policies and procedures. Determining proper job assignments using the maintenance system. Maintaining service records on equipment safely perform biohazard clean up. Recommending measures or changes to improve equipment performance, safety enhancement, energy management, and facility performance. Flexibility in personal schedule to meet facility needs outside normal working hours. Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Many duties require walking, standing, bending, or climbing for extended periods. Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control training and associated immunizations. Must hold valid driver's license for local deliveries. #
