Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep production running smoothly by addressing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly and effectively. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, control diagrams, and analysis tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Maintain and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automation systems operate reliably. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic system repairs, including working with hydraulics components and low voltage electrical systems. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas. Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, industrial electrician work, and welding procedures including specific welding standards. Read and interpret mechanical schematics and technical drawings for accurate repairs. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing equipment performance data and recommending upgrades or modifications. Provide excellent customer service within the team by communicating clearly about maintenance issues and solutions. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance procedures. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control systems troubleshooting. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management purposes. Skilled in hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), welding—including welding standards—and mechanical repair techniques. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other analysis tools. Strong electrical experience with both low voltage and high voltage systems; capable of performing electrical diagnostics safely. Experience with industrial electrician tasks in field service environments within manufacturing settings. Familiarity with safety procedures involving high voltage equipment and industrial machinery operation like scissor lifts. Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly and accurately. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Background in industrial maintenance with a focus on mechanical knowledge across diverse systems—ideal candidates may also have military experience related to technical or mechanical fields.
