Job Description
Have you thought about becoming a Maintenance Technician? We are willing to train! Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our client's team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically-inclined and eager to build a career in industrial maintenance, even if they do not have formal maintenance experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting and fixing mechanical problems, and likes the idea of supporting multiple areas of a manufacturing environment (i.e., mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems). You'll have the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills, assist with equipment upkeep, and grow within the maintenance team. Key Responsibilities Assist with general maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery Support preventive maintenance programs to ensure efficient operations Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and escalate as needed Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment Float between departments to assist in equipment operations and production processes when needed Work alongside experienced maintenance team members to learn new skills Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Mechanically-inclined with a desire to learn maintenance/repair of heavy industrial equipment and learn various production skills Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and help where needed Ability to work in a physically demanding, industrial environment Dependable and eager to grow within a company Previous manufacturing or hands-on experience is a plus Ability to work necessary overtime as needed
