Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise across a broad range of maintenance activities, from electrical systems to mechanical repairs, all while contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate will be energized by hands-on work, possess strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrate leadership in maintaining our facility's infrastructure. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC components. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems efficiently. Conduct welding and other fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment and structures. Assist with residential painting projects to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facility. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment history. Supervise or assist with facilities projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are met throughout all maintenance activities. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in welding, plumbing, and general repairs. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable. Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is a plus, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills. Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting is preferred. $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
