Job Description

Are you fascinated by how machinery works? Do you want to catch mechanical issues before they cause major plant breakdowns? At I-care, we are looking for a motivated, safety-conscious Predictive Maintenance (PDM) Technician to join our Operations team. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for someone with strong mechanical curiosity to get hands-on training in the fast-growing field of industrial condition monitoring. Your primary mission? Walking the plant floor, keeping your eyes on the equipment, and collecting vital vibration data. Your responsibilities As a PDM Technician, you will be out in the field, acting as our first line of defense for machinery health. Walk established plant routes to collect vibration and condition monitoring data using industry-leading tools and tech. Keep our machinery health databases accurate and up to date with the field data you capture. Perform visual inspections of critical equipment (motors, pumps, gearboxes) to spot visible damage, installation issues, or leaks. Report your daily visual findings and data insights directly to senior team members and clients. Follow I-care, client, and OSHA safety standards. You will have full "Stop Work Authority" Your qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical or engineering degree is a major plus! If you already have or are working toward your ISO Category 1 (Vibration), that's a plus. You will be trained to obtain this certification if you don't have it yet. A fundamental understanding of how rotating machinery works (pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers). Comfortable using computers, Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Great communication skills, an analytical mind, and the ability to work independently and responsibly. This is a physically active, industrial field role. To thrive here, you should be comfortable with moving around, climbing, balancing and lifting. You will be working outdoors and indoors in all kinds of conditions, using proper equipment and safety gear. What do we offer you?
