Full Job Description Job Description Summary:

Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work is done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations

Duties and Responsibilities:

Basic troubleshooting, basic repairing and basic maintaining of industrial electrical power and controls. Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining vacuum systems. Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining mechanical systems. Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining of processing equipment. Installation of processing and packaging equipment as required with direct supervision Measuring and cutting/drilling within established tolerances utilizing hand tools and machine shop equipment Welding of stainless steel and carbon steel Food manufacturing GMP's adherence. Repair buildings as required. Reading of basic electrical schematics. Performing of preventative maintenance programs Comply with food safety and quality assurance standards (GMP, HACCP, SSOP, SQF, etc.) ∙ Follow all Safety Guidelines ∙ Keep work area clean ∙ Responsible to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment ∙ Perform other duties as assigned. Working conditions Comfortable to work in a cold and loud environment as this job requires to work in plant setting environment. The position requires the physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending, the physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently, physical ability to stand for long hours, to do repetitive work, good visual acuity and ability to work long hours and weekends when needed.

∙ Read/Write English ∙ Bilingual ∙ Ability to work with Mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations ∙ Open to work 6 days a week, and be flexible with schedules when they are asked to cover a different shift or stay longer. ∙ Mon-Saturday & Potential Rotating Sundays Interview is required 1st shift - $17 Training / $18 After completing training 5:30 AM until finish (Hours can vary based on company needs/must be flexible) 2nd shift - $18 Training / $19 After completing training 3 PM until finish (Hours can vary based on company needs/must be flexible)
