Maintenance Technician II Location:
Goodfield, IL Pay:
$26-$30/hour (based on skills and experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30
PM Shift:
Day Shift About the Role We're looking for a Maintenance Technician II to help keep equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working independently. A Day in the Life Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using CMMS software Inspect equipment and identify opportunities to improve performance Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs Respond to maintenance requests and help minimize downtime Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Collaborate with team members to support daily operations What We're Looking For 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facility environment Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with preventive maintenance programs Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications OSHA, EPA, or other maintenance-related certifications Experience with PLCs, building automation systems, or industrial controls Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and using power tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Willingness to learn and grow within the maintenance field If you're a dependable maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on work and solving problems, we'd love to hear from you!
