Maintenance Technician

This critical position performs both preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial metal manufacturing equipment to ensure it is running properly. Provides proper maintenance and basic repairs of the building and grounds.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair machinery equipment and physical structures in the facility Perform regular preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot issues as they arise Maintain records of work performed, parts used and time spent Maintain clean and orderly workspaces Communicate needs with shop supervisor Submit purchase orders to purchasing team Assist employees as directed by shop supervisor Support the shop operations including the welding and fabrication teams Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to: Work well with a team get to work on time by reliable means follow directions Handle physical workload including lifting 50 pounds independently Excellent mechanical aptitude Basic electrical knowledge Knowledge in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints Experience working in an industrial metal manufacturing Physical strength to operate machinery Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination Diligence and attention to detail A strong commitment to safety. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
