Facility Maintenance

Position Summary Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on building and plant operations systems, access control, and departmental equipment for all SIH entities assigned.

Principal Accountabilities Standards of Performance:

Education High school or equivalent Trade school certificate or building operations certification preferred Licenses and Certification None Experience and Skills Proven experience in the engineering field is required. Basic troubleshooting skills in facility operation and systems. Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals and reports. Use of work tools of various trades. Effective interpretation and utilization of design, record, as built, and reference drawings. Experience using maintenance management software preferred. Physical Activities Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 pounds that can be modified. Walks and stands most of the day. Stoops and climbs frequently. Near-visual acuity and finger dexterity are required to perform repairs on equipment. Color discrimination is required to differentiate electrical wire colors.
