A Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of swimming pools by testing water quality, maintaining chemical balance, and repairing equipment. Key tasks include cleaning pools, troubleshooting issues and advising clients on maintenance practices.

Clay the Pool Guy at 847-433-6200. Duties Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and balancing water chemistry to ensure optimal water quality. Conduct inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to identify issues early. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, water testing results, and repairs performed. Assist with opening and closing pools according to safety standards and operational procedures. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment. Qualifications Prior experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is highly preferred. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and water chemistry management. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work independently and efficiently in outdoor conditions. Valid driver's license is a plus; willingness to learn industry standards and safety procedures.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
