$35 - $42 per hour, based on experience

Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for constructing, repairing, installation and remove various machines, equipment, and conduit, both metal and pvc, with respect to quality, good sanitation practices and safety in an efficient manner. Main responsibilities include trouble shooting, installation, repair of all electrical equipment, and instrumentation. PLC background is a plus. Must be qualified to work on 480 volt/3 phase electrical applications. The Maintenance Technician must be willing to work overtime and respond to call-in work. + Rebuild, repair, replace damaged, defective, or worn parts. + Troubleshoot, locate, identify, or diagnose electrical malfunction. + Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems or components. + Test electrical circuits, components or systems. + Test electrical system for faulty connections. + Reads and interprets drawings and layouts. + Sets up and operates the equipment necessary to perform all functions of the craft. + Installs, maintains, replaces, moves or removes equipment, machines and piping or any other production or maintenance devices. + Installs and maintains insulation on equipment, piping, ducts and spouting. + Makes repairs to and checks machines and equipment for correct operation. + Does necessary carpenter work. + Performs the lining of conveyors. + Maintains a clean and orderly work area and removes material and equipment from job site. + Testing, maintaining, and modifying facility's control systems + Installs, programs, and maintains PLC , instrumentation equipment and sensors + Performs all operations necessary for the construction, installation and repair of equipment and devices designated. + Maintains shop cleanliness.
