This role focuses on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing preventive maintenance, and helping minimize machine downtime in a manufacturing environment. Requirements of the CNC Maintenance Technician 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience with CNC equipment preferred Experience working with CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, or similar systems Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Experience using diagnostic and precision measurement tools Comfortable entering work orders and maintenance updates into computer systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities of the CNC Maintenance Technician Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and related production equipment Diagnose issues involving motors, spindles, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components Perform preventive maintenance on lubrication systems, conveyors, coolant systems, and other machine components Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner to reduce downtime Inspect machinery for wear, leaks, alignment issues, and other potential failures Complete maintenance documentation, repair logs, and PM records accurately Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to machine reliability and uptime Support root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues Follow company safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements Maintain clean and organized work areas while communicating equipment status updates to leadership 1st and 2nd shift available, DIRECT HIRE Pay is $40.00 - $50.00 hourly, based on experience If you have an open application with Matthews Professional Employment, Inc., please express your interest in this position to your consultant.
