Maintenance Technician II Morton, Illinois Property Maintenance 20836 Property Management Job Description Responsibilities Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping a community running smoothly? As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a vital role in ensuring our buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and inviting. You'll perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from plumbing and electrical repairs to HVAC and carpentry work, all while upholding our high standards for quality and safety. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met. Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames. Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management. Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively. Provide coverage for emergency maintenance on call Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages. Other duties as assigned

ANTICPATED SLARY RANGE
$26.00

Annual Performance Bonus This position is Non-Exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate's background and the requirements of the position. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Affordable housing experience is a plus. Must be able to cover emergency on-call Dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing exceptional service. Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, and approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem-solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters collaboration and a resident-centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross-functional success in all interactions.
