$30.00 - $31.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in Nashville, Tennessee. This mid-level position is responsible for maintaining the facility's appearance, functionality, and operational efficiency through preventative maintenance, repairs, and general building upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-trade maintenance experience, including painting, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment. Complete general repairs and maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and minor electrical work. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, fixtures, toilets, and drainage systems. Conduct basic HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, filter changes, and coordinate with specialized contractors when required. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Maintain the appearance and functionality of both public and back-of-house areas. Monitor building systems and identify potential issues before they become major repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and building standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner. Support facility improvement projects and assist other maintenance team members as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, hospitality maintenance, or a related field. Strong hands-on experience with painting, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance repairs. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently. Working knowledge of building systems, tools, and maintenance best practices. Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with occupants, visitors, and colleagues. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills for work order management and reporting. High school diploma or equivalent required.
