• Bloomington Management Level Non-Management Job Category Production & Skilled Trades Position Summary The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Trainee will develop their skills over the course of three years.

At the end of the three-year program, trainees will be considered for full-time Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician positions. The trainee will provide maintenance support to the operations departments. This multi-craft position (electrical, mechanical, and electronic) will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electronic and electrical industrial equipment for a designated department within the plant. The ideal candidate must have a continuous improvement mindset while achieving the overall objectives with preventative maintenance and quick repair for trouble calls from operating technicians.

Pay Range:

$28.74

• $33.66 Responsibilities Responsibilities include the following:
• Preventative Maintenance (continuous improvement)
• Perform Maintenance and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electronic, and Electrical Industrial equipment
• Perform Quick Repair for Trouble Calls from Operating Technicians
• Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and meet the following minimum requirements: Be at least 18 years old (on the date the opportunity is posted);
• Receive a passing score on the entry test and/or interview assessment selected by the Company;
• Received high school diploma or equivalent; AND
• Basic understanding of hand tools and computer skills Assuming that an applicant meets the minimum qualifications listed above, in order to be further considered, the applicant must pass a entrance test taken on a computer.
