Property Maintenance Technician/ Handyman Black Oaks Realty, LLC Oak Lawn, IL Job Details Full-time $27.50 - $32.50 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Electrical equipment repair Drywall High school diploma or GED Property maintenance Driver's License Electrical systems Plumbing Driving HVAC Electrical maintenance Handyman experience HVAC Certification Facilities maintenance Full Job Description Looking for experienced property maintenance technician to help us keep our apartment buildings in great shape. Must be able to perform general maintenance: General plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, handyman. HVAC is a plus. Vacant Unit Remodels /
Turnovers:
Prepare units for new tenants (full turns). Install cabinets, countertops, and fixtures. Replace flooring (LVP, tile, etc.). Paint walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. Assist with full or partial unit remodels
Plumbing:
Identify and repair leaks, replace toilets, replace kitchen and bathroom faucets/showers/cartridge, rod out main and sewer lines along with regular plumbing maintenance.
Electrical:
replacing faulty switches/outlets, trace a short circuit, replacing receptacles/breakers, replacing light fixtures and installed new light fixtures Carpentry/ general repairs: Replacing door locks, handles, repairing windows/door frames, screens, drywall patching and painting.
QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of previous experience, skills and knowledge as a apartment building technitian Knowledge of heating, boiler, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, general maintenance skills. Drivers License and good driving record
