Maintenance / Handyman in Peoria Il. Bard Optical is seeking a Part Time, Maintenance, handyman. Bard Optical operates 22 stores throughout central Illinois and is based out of Peoria Illinois. Summary:

Our ideal team member would be dependable, self-disciplined, detail-oriented and are able to effectively prioritize tasks. Be prepared to learn new skills and perform maintenance/repair tasks. Be familiar with basic hand tools (wrenches, pliers, cordless drill, etc.) Be comfortable doing simple repairs to household systems like plumbing and electric as well as larger projects like hanging drywall, mudding, and taping. Installing ceramic tile, shoveling snow, mowing and other minor task. This position is more of a "handyman" position. Therefore, you may have to come up with solutions to fix a problem.

Experience:

Driver's License (Required)

Maintenance Technician:

Having past construction or repair experience is a plus. Having any plumbing experience is a plus. We are willing to train a candidate that has similar qualities.

Job Type:

Part Time Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm but your schedule could change based on need.
