Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments in a timely manner
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Fabricate and weld components as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
- Position at times requires cleaning, grounds and any type of maintenance related to multifamily units.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
- Proficient in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Experience with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise a team of technicians
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
