Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Rochelle, IL $30

• 38/hour DOE 2nd shift Heavy Industrial Industry We are working with an established Industrial Manufacturing company based in Rochelle, Illinois. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team on the 2nd shift in return for a salary in the region of between $30
• 38/hour along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Insurance.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Mechanic include: Performs Preventative Maintenance on equipment Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair the equipment Must be able to build gearboxes Maintain knowledge of each part to be able to communicate with the supplier Responsible for keeping the down time for each machine to a minimal and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and tools May be responsible for ordering the parts that are necessary for each machine to operate if a purchase is necessary Operate Lathe machine, End Mill Machine, Drill Press, Surface Grinders, Grinders, Sanders, Hand Tools, CNC Machines, etc. Able to read and interpret blueprints and written information and able to write clearly and informatively

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience as maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting Must have knowledge in electrical install, troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics Must have their own tools
