2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm, Mon-Friday w/occasional Saturdays)

Must-Have Skills:
Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing troubleshooting skills Preventive maintenance (PM) experience Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs Ability to read and complete work orders within a CMMS system Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking multiple Maintenance Technician professionals to support manufacturing operations at a high-volume food production facility. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment, facility systems, and utilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Technicians will spend most of their shift on the production floor supporting equipment uptime, performing preventive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Duties:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, packaging, and facility equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Respond promptly to maintenance calls and prioritize work based on production needs Assist with equipment setup, startup, operation, shutdown, and changeovers Support continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and downtime reduction initiatives Utilize CMMS software to create notifications, document repairs, and track labor time Inspect equipment and perform routine observations to identify potential issues before failures occur Maintain machine guarding and ensure equipment operates safely Participate in shift handoff meetings with incoming and outgoing technicians Help develop and document equipment operating parameters and maintenance procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and company standards Support facility maintenance needs including building, office, and grounds repairs
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or related trades Ability to recognize and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMI systems Experience with CMMS systems preferred Familiarity with machine shop equipment such as mills, presses, and brakes preferred Food manufacturing experience preferred Formal training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing disciplines is a plus Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and structured problem-solving methodologies is preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
