Building Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property's overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Compensation:

$33 hourly

Responsibilities:

React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria

Qualifications:

This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license and good driving record required Experience with facilities management software is preferred Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED About Company Marriott Schaumburg is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and boasts easy access to the highway for quick drives to downtown Chicago or O'Hare International Airport.
