Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Fence Installer/Laborer and be a vital part of transforming outdoor spaces! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, focusing on installing fences, performing site preparation, and assisting with related tasks. We value motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in construction, carpentry, and landscape maintenance while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship. This paid position provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, fostering growth and teamwork every step of the way. Duties Assist in the installation of fences using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to ensure precise and durable results Prepare job sites by measuring, marking, and setting up materials for efficient assembly and installation Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood, metal panels, concrete blocks, and fencing components to facilitate smooth workflow Use carpentry skills to frame and assemble fence sections, ensuring alignment and structural integrity Operate concrete forming tools and assist with concrete finishing tasks when necessary for foundation stability Support landscape maintenance and hardscape projects by preparing surfaces and installing decorative elements Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Strong background in construction techniques with an emphasis on carpentry Experience with hand tools, power tools, and other construction machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and hardscape installation is a plus Proven experience working on construction sites with an understanding of project timelines and teamwork dynamics Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring, cutting, and assembling components
Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
