General Handyman

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of residential and light commercial repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing, and general repairs. This position requires someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform general repair and maintenance work on residential and commercial properties Complete tasks including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, trim work, flooring Diagnose issues and determine effective repair solutions Install fixtures, doors, cabinets, hardware, and other building components Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with customers and team members Follow work orders, schedules, and project timelines Ensure all work is completed safely and meets company standards Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools Load, transport, and organize materials and equipment Required Skills & Qualifications Previous handyman, maintenance, or construction experience Knowledge of basic carpentry, drywall, painting, and repair techniques Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and ladders Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication and customer service skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential remodeling or property maintenance Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge OSHA or safety training certifications Experience working directly with customers Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Consistent, year-round work Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Overtime opportunities available Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday Occasional overtime as needed Work Location In person /
