Mechanical Maintenance position to repair/install production equipment and machinery in heavy industrial setting.
Skills:
7 or more years experinece in heavy industrial mechanical maintenace with proven skills. Must be able to work at heights and in extreme enviroments. Must be able to work weekends.
Duties:
Follows all applicable Safe Job Practices including required Personal Protective Equipment and strict compliance with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Performs equipment inspection routes. Operates overhead cranes, remote controlled cranes, and mobile equipment Operates power tools such as electric and pneumatic drills, grinders, power saws, etc. Operates oxy-acetylene torch or electric welder on a variety of construction or repair welds. Lubricates and cleans mechanical equipment or may direct others in such work. Reads and interprets assembly drawings when necessary. Has knowledge and proficient use of alignment and inspection tools Utilizes basic computer skills. Inspects mechanical equipment for operating conditions and determines need for maintenance or repair. Trouble shoots and determines course of repairs required. Dismantles, repairs, and assembles mechanical equipment such as gears, bearings (Babbitt and scrape bearings), shafts, cables, belts, etc. To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
