As a key member of our team, the Floor Tech plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control in our facility.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that patient care areas, including patient rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces, are clean, organized, and prepared for patient care Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces and equipment Restock supplies and linens as needed to maintain a clean and efficient environment Participate in infection control efforts by following proper protocols for cleaning and disinfecting Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a floor tech or in a similar role Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
