About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment during overnight shifts. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in industrial electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, efficient production environment. Your proficiency in electrical theory and proactive problem-solving will be crucial to our success. Responsibilities Resolve electrical issues on manufacturing equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices. Conduct advanced troubleshooting on CNC machinery, robotic systems, and other automated equipment to optimize performance. Analyze equipment failures to develop and implement effective solutions that enhance long-term reliability. Troubleshoot and modify PLC systems using diagnostic software and tools to improve automation processes. Maintain and repair solid-state devices and integrated control systems, ensuring optimal functionality. Independently execute repairs, offering guidance and support to team members as needed. Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and minimize disruptions to production. Provide leadership and direction during the shift in the absence of supervisors. Qualifications Required Skills Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, automation, CNC, and robotics. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems effectively. Practical knowledge of electrical theory and its application in a manufacturing setting. Experience with PLCs, ladder logic programming, and diagnostics. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 5+ years of related experience and/or training. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
