Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Report any safety issues immediately.
- Process work assignments daily on machines and facilities.
- Perform scheduled PMs for production equipment and facilities.
- Diagnose perform repairs on production equipment and facilities.
- Maintain pneumatic and electrical supply to equipment (Air compressor on/off observe and maintain electrical in facilities)
- Perform machine installations and moves to assist in building layout and utility supply.
- Assist and document projects forward to departments.
- General maintenance and facility repairs using knowledge and teamwork. (carpentry, jigs, fixtures, adjustments)
- Travel on occasion to assist other facilities (approximately 10% of the annual schedule)
- Coordinate with outside suppliers of HVAC, electrical, external facility improvements, utility, emergency services.
- Upon request other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Work safely and use all tools as instructed. (ladders, lifts, drills, meters, etc.)
- Maintenance, facility and manufacturing experience is preferred
- Forklift license or experience.
- Driver's license.
- Computer general knowledge email, web search and directory input and retrieval
- Full range of body movement, ability to be hands on to lift, tug and pull safely.
