This is a fully outdoor, active position that involves landscaping, lawn care, and seasonal maintenance tasks using professional equipment. You'll work independently on daily assignments while also collaborating with Landscape Technicians on larger projects. 🔧 What You'll Do Your work will directly impact the safety and appearance of the campus.

Responsibilities include:

Inspecting assigned outdoor areas to identify maintenance and safety needs Collecting and removing litter and debris from lawns, pathways, and landscaped areas Performing lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and watering Weeding, planting, pruning, trimming, and maintaining trees, shrubs, flowers, and garden beds Removing leaves, branches, and debris to keep walkways clear and safe String trimming and general groundskeeping tasks throughout the year Planting, deadheading, and thinning plants to promote healthy growth Assisting with fertilization and pre‑emergent control under a licensed applicator Supporting winter operations by clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and parking areas Responding to on‑call snow removal needs during winter weather events Safely operating lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment Working with Landscape Technicians on group landscaping and beautification projects ✅ What We're Looking For Essential Skills Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions—heat, rain, cold, and snow Experience or familiarity with basic lawn care and groundskeeping tasks Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment Willingness to participate in snow removal and on‑call winter response Reliable, detail‑oriented, and takes pride in maintaining clean outdoor spaces Able to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Verifiable experience in grounds maintenance, lawn care, or gardening Basic knowledge of plant care, pruning, and seasonal maintenance Comfort assisting licensed applicators with fertilization and pre‑emergent treatments Strong work ethic and hands‑on approach to outdoor work Good communication skills and teamwork mindset 💼 Why Work Here?
