Maintenance Technician

Job Title:

Maintenance Technician 1st Shift Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment using safe and effective problem-solving techniques. Your role will involve ensuring the mechanical aspects of plant and yard equipment are in optimal condition. Responsibilities Maintain all mechanical aspects of plant and yard equipment. Communicate with supervisor regarding parts inventories and supplies. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience. 1+ year of electrical experience. 2+ years of industrial experience. Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, and troubleshooting. Experience with blueprint reading, repair, and preventive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor and auger systems. Proficiency in power tools, overhead cranes, welding and fabrication. Knowledge of SMAW, GMAW, plasma torch, oxy/acetylene cutting. Ability to repair and operate diesel engines and wheel vehicles. Experience with lockout/tagout (LO/TO) procedures. Understanding of hot work permit and confined space procedures. Capability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, aerial lifts, cranes, and yard tractors. Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical issues. Strong understanding of parts diagrams for equipment assembly/disassembly. Ability to work independently and committed to safety, customer satisfaction, and efficiency. Basic computer skills with experience using

CMMS/IFS.
