Job Description

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN FULL TIME - CROWN POINT LOCATION
Under general supervision and according to accepted procedures and standards, performs routine and complex tasks associated with industrial technologies including construction, plumbing, electrical, maintenance, and general mechanics to provide the hospital with safe and reliable structures, systems, and equipment consistent with requirements in local, state and federal codes and regulations. May specialize in the performance of a particular task but may be required to assist in other capacities due to variations in workload and staffing.
Qualifications and Experience:
2+ recent years of HVAC experience required Knowledge on Trane R.T.U. Units, Fan Coil Maintenance Knowledge on closed loop boiler and chiller systems Knowledge on Variable drive pumps maintenance Knowledge of removal and installation of equipment a plus Knowledge of Commercial Kitchen equipment a plus Basic electronic change order knowledge a plus Basic computer skills Ability to communicate effectively and have great people skills Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a 1 year post-secondary technical certificate or apprenticeship.
