Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Engineer (Hospitality) to join our team and drive excellence in facility maintenance and operational efficiency within a hospitality environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure the seamless functioning of our facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving building systems, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting a positive guest experience through reliable infrastructure. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will help create a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff alike. This position requires you to have reliable transportation and be on call as needed. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Use schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to troubleshoot issues efficiently. Conduct repairs involving welding, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments with precision and safety. Supervise maintenance projects including residential painting, facilities upgrades, or equipment installations. Manage the use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate building systems and improve operational efficiency. Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance on best practices in facilities maintenance and safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS tools and prepare reports on system performance and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards by conducting regular safety audits and training staff on proper procedures. Oversee the use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure all equipment is calibrated correctly. Collaborate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs like welding or complex electrical work while supervising their activities. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems. Proficiency in welding techniques and residential painting for facility upgrades. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and facility layouts effectively. Excellent customer service skills to address guest or staff concerns promptly and professionally. Experience with facilities maintenance management software such as CMMS platforms. Leadership experience supervising maintenance teams or projects within manufacturing or hospitality settings. Skilled in using testing instruments like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics. Fluency in English for clear communication across teams and documentation purposes.
