Indy Disposal Solutions team is seeking applicants for a Fleet Maintenance Technician. Ideal candidates for this opening will have experience working on maintenance issues for heavy Class 8 (Tractor Trailers), knowledge of PM requirements, a CDL License is a plus! In addition to performing preventative maintenance and troubleshoots problems on vehicles, this role includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance documenting and tracking. This role also assist with mechanical work on facility equipment and offers a daily variety of tasks and plays a key role on IDS team. Responsibilities Perform (minor and medium level) light-medium duty repairs on trucks and trailers Conduct regular preventative maintenance on semi-trucks/trailers, including inspection and oil changes Collaborate with (repair team) drivers to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs in a timely manner Coordinate in-depth repair work with local truck shops and dealerships Perform regular diagnostic tests on vehicles Report defects, accidents or violations Requirements 2+ years of diesel technician experience PM expertise/welding/pto/emissions a major plus Computer diagnostic skills Knowledge of shop equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to work well as part of a team Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Valid Driver's license and clean driving record (MVR) Benefits Company Supplied Tools, Equipment and PPE Paid Orientation Company Sponsored Health Insurance (Medical, Dental & Vision) Company Sponsored 401(k) with Match Program Company Sponsored Saving Program Life/AD&D Insurance; Supplemental Life Insurance available Paid Vacation and Holidays Company Supplied Uniforms Direct Deposit with
