Months:
Build relationships with facility staff and begin responding to service calls independently 6
Months:
Fully dependable, able to manage workload independently 12
Months:
Proactively identify facility needs and recommend process or system improvements Key Responsibilities Respond to daily maintenance requests and work orders from staff Perform general maintenance including: Electrical (secondary systems) Plumbing Painting Hardware repairs Complete both scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including: Plumbing, HVAC/air systems, and electrical systems Maintain, inspect, and repair equipment in accordance with code and regulatory requirements Conduct routine building and grounds inspections Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities Recommend improvements to facility systems to support patient care needs Perform additional duties as assigned Skills for Success Dependable and self-sufficient Strong attention to detail Effective problem-solving skills Experience with hand and power tools Working knowledge of: Mechanical systems Lighting systems Fire systems Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience General knowledge of: Electrical secondary systems Plumbing systems Fire system devices Air/HVAC systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams Basic computer skills required Valid Indiana driver's license with proof of insurance may be required Knowledge of healthcare building codes preferred Culture Small, collaborative team environment Strong focus on teamwork and support across facilities We are an equal opportunity employer.
