$28 - $38 per hour Job Details - We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role will involve a wide range of tasks, including maintaining and repairing machinery, conducting regular inspections, and implementing preventive maintenance measures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding, a deep knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures, and a solid background in working with machines and tools. Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction. Carry out preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical issues that arise. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines. Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work conducted, and report any significant issues to management. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices. Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment. Ensure all machinery and equipment meet safety regulations and standards. Implement improvements to machinery and equipment to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. A strong technical understanding, with a deep knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures. Extensive experience with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Proven mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Experience in preventive maintenance and a strong understanding of its importance in the manufacturing industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot potential issues before they become problems. A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Must be physically capable of performing tasks that may require lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods. A relevant technical certification or degree is preferred.A bit about us:
