Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or a related field. You will leverage your strong mechanical and electrical skills, including working with components up to 460 volts, to maintain and enhance our production equipment. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on extrusion machines and related equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Ensure compliance with food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Respond to emergency maintenance calls during off-hours as needed. Essential Skills Hydraulics Pneumatics Extrusion machine maintenance Preventive maintenance Industrial maintenance PLC troubleshooting Automation Electrical troubleshooting Service and repair skills Mechanical maintenance Understanding of 3 phase and single phase systems Blueprint reading Schematic interpretation Use of hand and power tools Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with installation and fabrication Familiarity with conveyor systems Knowledge of VFD and sensors Ability to work with 480v electrical components Why Work Here? The schedule includes 1st shift from 7 am to 7 pm and 3rd shift from 7 pm to 7 am, following a 2/2/3 rotation. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mooresville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
