Starts at $22 a year, which is $45,000 per year if you're working 40 hours a week, with increases based on skill level, certifications, and the tools/truck you bring

Paid Time Off:

12 days Paid Time Off after the first 6 months Annual salary increases considered at the end of each year if goals are achieved such as quick turnover of vacant homes and quick preparation of houses we're getting ready to sell. Also, if you're able and willing to happily take care of tenant emergencies nights and weekends, it will affect your annual salary increase. Basic tools provided HVAC certification earns higher starting pay Mileage reimbursement for use of your truck to go between jobs and to stores for supplies What You'll Do Handle daily maintenance and renovations on houses and small apartments, mostly from the 1920s-1940s. No two days are the same — you'll troubleshoot problems, complete tenant requests, and prepare units for new residents.

Property Repairs:

Plumbing, drywall, painting, repair or replace appliances, carpentry, replace laminate flooring, siding Get units move-in ready: Inspect, repair, clean, patch, paint, and prep vacant units for move-ins Maintain grounds: grass, bushes, gutters, snow, seasonal upkeep Complete an annual walkthrough inspection for our apartments and houses to see what needs to be done Requirements Proven handyman/maintenance experience (not entry-level, must come already knowing how to fix things) Strong skills in drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, and appliance repair Roofing experience is a plus HVAC certification is a big plus, but not required Driver's license, reliable car or truck, and auto insurance that adequately covers you and the company as an additional insured Background check required (you'll be working in tenants' homes) To Apply Apply through Indeed with: Your resume 2-3 maintenance job references Applications without both a resume showing specific skills and job references will not be considered.
