Job Title:
Stamping Maintenance Technician Job Description This role focuses on the administrative ownership of Stamping machine preventive maintenance (PM) for all primary and peripheral equipment and machines in the stamping work center. Candidates will need some electrical experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and read blueprints is essential. Experience with tight tolerances, specifically within .0001", is required. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on stamping machines and related equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision in maintenance tasks. Utilize a variety of measuring devices such as Depth Mic, Step Mic, and Dial Indicators. Run a surface grinder as needed. Essential Skills Experience in panel building and electrical wiring. PLC troubleshooting and maintenance. Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Mechanical and electrical experience. 3-5 years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-Year or 4-Year Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering/Technical Degree preferred. Tool & Die or Electrical Journeyman/Certification is a plus. Experience can supplement or replace educational requirements. Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Work Environment This position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm.
