Job Description

Job Summary:
Our farm has been owned and operated with the Minnich family name for 3 generations. We have earned a reputation for producing, packaging, and selling the safest, most affordable, and protein-rich food for the world. We now house almost 4 million hens producing around 3 million eggs per day. Together with both family and a friendly workforce, we are able to supply farm fresh eggs to your home! We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machines. To do well in this role, you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals. A variety of tasks will be required using excellent organization and communication skills as well as cleanliness of the work area.
Responsibilities:
Work with safety being top priority and promote a culture of safety. Conduct routine inspections of machines, equipment, and premises. Perform preventative maintenance. Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary. Document maintenance activities and log repair parts. Adhere to company policies and legal regulations. Work as a team to obtain goals and objectives. Comply with all company, FDA, and food safety requirements. Keep area clean and return tools and parts to their appropriate locations. Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven maintenance experience. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Excellent time management skills. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Very good problem analysis and resolution skills. Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
