Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Process Maintenance Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex production equipment and systems to ensure continuous and efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical process environments. Your contributions will directly support the production of high-quality medicines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Duties Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, HVAC units, and other critical machinery. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Conduct inspections of equipment using precision measuring instruments to identify wear or potential failures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset history. Assist with installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment following industry standards such as <

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize equipment performance while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize analysis skills to evaluate system performance data and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with industry regulations related to pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Operate scissor lifts or other access equipment safely for maintenance tasks at elevated heights. Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility, preferably in pharmaceutical or related industries. 0-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related technical field required. Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related discipline preferred. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program combined with relevant hands-on training may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or other GMP-regulated environment is preferred. Hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process-related equipment, systems, and components in an industrial or regulated manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting principles with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Proficiency in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, and maintenance-related instrumentation. Basic understanding of machinery, equipment, and tools used in the maintenance, repair, and operation of production systems. Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, automated control systems, and other machine control devices is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to read, interpret, and work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, technical manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). $24.80 - $34.00 per hour
