Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems, and executing repairs that keep our operations running smoothly. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing and facilities management. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Perform maintenance tasks including troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing faulty components in machinery and building infrastructure. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement control system repairs or adjustments. Execute welding tasks for structural repairs or fabrication projects following safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with residential painting projects and other facility upkeep duties to enhance the appearance and functionality of the premises. Supervise or collaborate with team members on complex projects, providing leadership and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or similar settings. Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and control systems. Skilled in welding techniques for structural or equipment repairs. Knowledge of residential painting techniques for facility aesthetic improvements. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors. Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in team coordination and project management. Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling maintenance tasks and recording work history. Basic proficiency in English for clear communication across teams.
