Chemical Process Maintenance Technician Picture the start of your shift: the plant hums, utilities are steady, and production depends on your know‑how. You scan the CMMS, prioritize work orders, and move from a pump seal replacement to aligning a motor, then into a confined-space inspection—always with safety, SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Practices guiding every step. That's a typical night for our Maintenance team at Hydrite, where people matter, we're family driven, financially strong, and always looking for problem‑solvers. Role Overview You will keep process and plant equipment running safely and efficiently through repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning. You'll communicate equipment status to leadership, understand process flow and computerized systems, and work with an eye toward environmental and personal safety while helping Hydrite deliver quality products on time. Schedule Monday-Wednesday with alternating Thursdays, 7:00 pm-7:30 am (includes a $1.50/hour shift differential). What You'll Do Perform routine and preventive maintenance on process/plant equipment; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair process and auxiliary systems. Maintain and service pumps, motors, couplings, minor electrical systems, heat exchangers, blowers, piping, compressed air, and steam systems. Execute millwright work including pump/motor alignment, fabrication, and rigging. Research and source parts, supplies, and tools; assist with accurate parts inventory. Install equipment; support construction tasks such as piping and basic electrical. Follow company policies, procedures, and regulations for environmental and personal safety; practice Good Manufacturing Practices and strong housekeeping. Communicate compliance, safety, and equipment needs to your supervisor. Uphold Hydrite's Standard of Excellence and follow all relevant SOPs; perform other duties as assigned.

Site Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications Essential experience Pumps, valves, couplings Pneumatics Steam generation and distribution Cooling towers Plumbing/pipefitting Basic electrical wiring/troubleshooting Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Preferred experience Welding/fabrication PLCs/controls and process instrumentation Water treatment DCS (Distributed Control System) CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Education and skills High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred. Able to read and create mechanical drawings and diagrams. Comfort with Microsoft Office; able to learn new software; accurate data entry and documentation. Self‑motivated; able to work independently; strong communication and interpersonal skills; read, write, and speak English. Acceptable driving record. Operate and work in aerial manlifts and in confined spaces. Physical Requirements Climb ladders and work at heights up to 50 feet occasionally. Stand or walk up to 12 hours per shift. Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly per shift; lift 100 lbs. on occasion. Wear a respirator for up to 4 hours/day without restrictions (see SOP for facial hair guidelines). Meet DOT vision requirements. For safety reasons, contact lenses are not permitted.
