Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Technician follows established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. They are responsible for performing minor repairs and limited preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs minor repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. Advises supervisor immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs). Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and within Standard Repair Times (SRTs). Washes vehicles and equipment as needed. Assists with conducting safety checks on vehicles. Assists senior mechanics in the completion of project work. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. What you can expect when you join the

Compensation Starting pay range:
‏‏‎ ‎$20.70 - $24.00/hour.‏‏‎ ‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Requirements:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. General knowledge of all shop equipment and tools. Ability to follow all motor vehicle rules and regulations involved in the safe operation of all vehicles owned by Casey's.
Preferred:
Prior work-related experience. Work is performed in a regular service setting. Some duties are performed outdoors and may require travel. Must be available after-hours for calls to repair equipment.
