Tsunami Express currently operates 75+ express car wash locations across the Midwest. We are creating a high-performance network of car washes powered by people, automation, and smart technology. As a Tsunami Express Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Our Maintenance Technicians handle MRO priorities while minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability across all locations. This position requires a strong understanding of our culture, priorities, and operational standards. We are seeking a mechanically skilled Maintenance Technician with trade school training, 3-5 years of experience, or a combination of both. The ideal Maintenance Technician is detail-oriented, dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects with pride and accountability. Key Responsibilities as a
Maintenance Technician:
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements as a Maintenance Technician Assist with maintenance and installation projects at current and new locations Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and backroom equipment Demonstrate hands-on expertise as a Maintenance Technician in at least three of the following areas: Low-voltage electrical (24/120) High-voltage electrical (208/480 3-phase) Mechanical systems Welding Hydraulics Pneumatics Plumbing Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and related equipment Maintain strong working relationships across all sites as a Maintenance Technician Manage multiple projects, prioritize repairs, and adapt to new processes Train Store Managers on basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance Complete accurate work order documentation Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Need to Succeed as aMaintenance Technician:
