Job Summary :

Repairs and maintains machinery, plumbing, physical structure, electrical wiring and fixtures of the manufacturing plant in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and building codes, using hand tools and carpenter's, electrician's and plumber's tools.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs the dismantling and repair of facility equipment. Utilizes specialized and common hand tools to complete repairs. Performs the inspection and preventative maintenance on various machines and facility equipment following a prescribed schedule. Ensures the on-hand spare parts and fabrication inventory is current and adequate. Performs the repair, maintenance or replacement of plumbing equipment and fixtures using plumbing tools. Performs the installation of electrical equipment and machinery and the repair or replacement of wiring and fixtures. Performs the building or repair of work benches, shelving, partitions, and other structures, using metal working and carpenter's tools. Paints walls, floors, woodwork, and production equipment, ensuring adherence to established aesthetics. Must work overtime as required Will accept other duties as may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years experience maintaining an industrial facility with foremanship responsibility. Must have knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical theory. Must have ability to read and comprehend blueprint and sketches. Must be capable of some heavy lifting.
