Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for the repair and maintenance of printing press and die cutting equipment. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including older relay logic, programmable logic control, and drive systems. The role requires strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors for troubleshooting and involves a rotating 'On Call' schedule to ensure optimal press coverage. Responsibilities Repair and maintain printing press and die cutting equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot all mechanical and electrical issues. Communicate effectively with vendors to troubleshoot equipment. Organize and maintain preventative maintenance and repair records. Participate in a rotating 'On Call' schedule. Essential Skills Electrical troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics repair PLC troubleshooting Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics 5+ years experience with preventative maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Man Roland or Heidelberg presses Experience with Bobst die cutters Experience with computers, networking, and open architecture control systems Experience with Seimans and Flow Clear systems Experience with IR drying systems Strong electrical background Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates within a manufacturing facility that is climate-controlled, clean, and well-organized. The role follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of De Soto, KS.
