The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental services and custodial work, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing the appearance of various floor surfaces. This role is essential in ensuring cleanliness and safety in commercial settings, contributing to a positive environment for both employees and clients. Must be a motivated self starter who requires minimum supervision. Duties Perform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness. Execute specialized floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained. Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear, reporting any issues to management for timely repairs. Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and operating equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in environmental services or custodial work is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing. Ability to operate various commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
