Job Description
We are looking for new talent to join our service department! Swans Water Gardens is a company that has been building and maintaining water features in the Kansas City area for over 30 years and it's all because of the great employees. Some of the work being performed will be/not limited to:
- Residential pond service. Includes servicing/cleaning pumps and filters, lighting, treating water with proper natural products, grooming and feeding aquatic plants and making small feature adjustments such as adding or removing rock/gravel/aquatic foam. Leak diagnosis and repairs on features.
- Pond Cleaning. Includes all of the above with the addition of: draining entire pond, removal of fish to separate holding tank, power washing rocks in the system, reconstruction of anything that has fallen out of place from previous season. Make sure all airlines and stones are either clean/replaced. New water/natural products added back into system with fish and then turning the system back on.
Pond Construction:
steel toe boot environment which is heavy labor. From digging holes to placing heavy rocks, this is where artistry is expressed. When there is no service left, you will be helping construction crews on their projects.- Provide great customer service by communicating to clients about services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- A minimum of 2 years work experience in landscaping, pools, or other relevant positions
- Able to work in all weather conditions as this is a year round position
- Have a winning attitude and be able to get along with team members
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 Year experience driving company vehicles.
- Ability to operate skid steer / loader
- Bilingual (Spanish)
